bespoke WEDDING FAqs
How do I book?
To enquire - please fill in our enquiry form or email us directly.
If I’m free on your wedding date we can arrange a zoom call or meet up in person for a coffee, before we meet it’s really helpful if you can send over some initial design ideas, you don’t need to know anything about flowers just a few Pinterest images, colour palette and budget is really helpful.
Following our meeting, I’ll put together a price estimate and design proposal full of inspiration images, colours and flowers for you to consider.
Your date is reserved for two weeks and you can secure your date by paying a deposit.
In the final months before your wedding we will meet again, possibly for a site visit, to run through all the details for your big day. I look forward to getting to know about you and your wedding soon.
How far in advance can I book?
We usually recommend 18 months prior, but this is very flexible!
Unsure what to budget?
Knowing how far your budget will stretch helps us build a quote that works for you
This is just a rough guide but we will tailor a quote for you based on your venue, seasonality and many more factors.
Under £1000 - Wedding Party flowers which may include bouquets, buttonholes + simple venue decor such as a ceremony/top table display, bud vases or small jars of flowers for the tables and cake flowers. If you are working to or under this budget, we suggest you check out our Pick N Mix Collections, as this may be a better option for you.
£1000-£2000 - Wedding Party flowers which may include bouquets, buttonholes + simple venue decor such as a ceremony/top table display, bud vases or small jars of flowers for the tables, chair ends, cake flowers, welcome signs and additional ceremony decor. Plus labour/delivery/set up fees.
£2000-£3000 - All of the above + an installation such as an arch, urns, pedestals, a chandelier, a moon gate or even a balcony. This may also give room for larger table designs such as low bowl arrangements or vases. This could also include more welcome signs and additional ceremony decor.
£3000 + - All of the above with luxurious table centres such as riser stands or tall impactful arrangements with the wow factor. This could also include additional decor such as flower meadows to line the aisle or an additional installation.
I’m not getting married in the midlands, can you still be my florist?
Most definitely! We would love the opportunity to travel wherever you may need our services - a minimum order value will apply for this. If you’re wanting dried forever flowers - we can courier them to you anywhere in the UK!
I’m only wanting bridal party flowers, can you still help me?
Of course! We are more than happy to provide bridal party flowers instead of a full ceremony + reception set up. However, for fresh flowers - we do limit this to a more local area and collection is preferred.
If you’re wanting dried forever flowers - we can courier them to you anywhere in the UK!
If you are working to a smaller budget, we suggest you check out our Pick & Mix Collections, as this may be a better option for you.
Can I add items after I’ve booked?
Yes of course. We understand that ideas change and inspiration grows as your wedding date comes closer (most couples book 6-18mths in advance). You're welcome to add items and tweak slight, as you wish however no more than 10% can be deducted from the quote agreed upon in your contract.
Can I repurpose ceremony flowers for the rest of the event?
Potentially! It depends on the design, location, weather and other variables. It's quite specific to each wedding whether it's possible so just let us know when enquiring and we can guide you on this.
I’m after really specific flowers, is that okay?
This generally depends on the flowers you are looking for.
We never promise our couples any particular flowers. We're working with mother nature and seasonal availability as well as market availability and importing issues. We would hate to disappoint you in the case we can't source the product. Instead, we encourage our clients to focus on an overall aesthetic - a vibe that you want your space to feel. We take into account your preferred flowers and do our best to source them. As the experts, we'd love to open your eyes into the world of flowers and design.
What happens to the flowers after the wedding?
You're welcome to take all of the flowers! Please do so prior to leaving the venue. Otherwise, we take everything as we pack down after the reception. If you are taking flowers, or allowing guests to do so, please ensure they do not take any hired items (vessels, vases etc) which belong to us - any missing items will be charged back to the couple.
Will you set up and pack down our wedding?
We look after everything to do with your wedding flowers- from start to finish. So yes, that does mean we come back at after the party to pack everything up, if needed. The prices for this will be included in your bespoke quote.
can i make changes to my order, once confirmed?
We know things change along the planning process, especially when ordering well in advance.
If you have ordered over 3 months prior to your event, we will make a note to contact you around 6 weeks prior to your wedding to finalise details such a collection/delivery and set up, as well as confirm your order quantities and colour scheme. So we can make tweaks to your order here!
You are welcome to add extra items onto your final order if needed!
However once confirmed, we do ask that the order quantities aren’t significantly reduced.
If you need to reduce the value, we allow this up to 10% of the full total. For example, if your guest table numbers are less than originally expected - we can add the value elsewhere on other florals instead!
How do we pay? Deposit and full balance.
Once your order is confirmed, you can rest assured that your wedding flowers are sorted! We will contact you 6 weeks prior to your wedding day to confirm the finer details and to send you over a final invoice for the remaining balance.
Bookings 3 - 18 months in advance - Once you have sent over and enquiry form and we have accepted your order, we will send over an invoice for the deposit payment to be made - this will secure your date. We ask for a 20% deposit to be paid when booking, the remaining balance is due 6 weeks prior to your event (we will send you a reminder email!). If you are booking for an event that is over 12 months away, please ensure you are aware of the T&Cs regarding this. We can only hold your date for 3 working days once a confirmation is sent over.
Bookings 3 or less months in advance - We advise booking further in advance than this, but understand that life doesn’t always work this way! If you are booking for a wedding taking place in the next 3 months, we request full payment to be made once your order is confirmed with us. We can only hold your date for 3 working days once a confirmation is sent over.
Terms & Conditions and contracts
Signing our contract and paying the deposit/full payment means you have read all of the FAQs along with our full t&cs - this is to ensure us (the supplier) and you (the customer) are informed and protected. All of the information regarding cancellation policies, changes and delivery/collection will be on the T&Cs.
Your booking is not completed without signing a contact and paying the deposit.
Colour Scheme
We haven’t picked a colour scheme yet!
We know picking a colour scheme can be tricky! We are happy to provide some guidance with this and will be adding colour scheme examples to the website and our socials for you to see!
How do we let you know our colour scheme?
We can discuss this on your call, we really encourage you to send over some images and inspo too.
Our colour scheme has changed slightly?
We know colour schemes and other details may shift slightly during the planning process - if you are booking over 3 months out - we will set up a quick call around 4 weeks before your wedding to finalise any details in terms of colour schemes, ribbons, deliveries and order quantities.
Some tips for detailing your colour scheme
please ensure you give us realistic colours and the shade - if you want pinks, are we thinking soft, light tones or really punchy brights?
Colours like “blush” and “nude” can mean different things to different people, sending colours on a small moodboard will clear up any confusion.
Please be aware that we are dealing with natural products, we may not be able to get the perfect shade of lilac or blue, but we will ensure the mix of florals are as close to your scheme as possible
White flowers are a popular choice, but as you may have found if you’re on the hunt for the perfect white dress, the shades can vary drastically! White florals can often vary in subtle shades of creams, pinks and green tones. If you want bright white or creamier tones, let us know!! White florals are also the most likely to bruise or show marks during the day on bridal party bouquets, due to their light tones, this is something to bear in mind and remember to treat them delicately!
Your bouquets and florals will contain greenery as standard. If you would like to discuss more flower heavy/no greenery options, we can do this on a bespoke call!
